EVENT APP FAQS
Go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play Store (Android) and search ‘Ceramics / Thermal Mgmt. Expo'. Then click into the application and log in using your email address and password.
To ensure you get the most out of the event app and its matchmaking feature, we recommend you complete your profile. Upload a photo, add basic contact details, update your timezone and edit your notification settings. You can also edit your 'Biography' and 'About You' message to specify what you are looking for at the event. To update your Profile:
1. Log into the app
2. Tap on your name in the top right hand corner and the tap ‘My Profile
3. Add a profile picture or tap a field to add to or edit your profile information
4. Click 'Done' once completed to save your information
You can edit the time zone within your profile settings. Tap on the three dots in the top right hand corner and the tap ‘My Profile' to edit your profile settings. Go to time zone and select from the dropdown list the time zone that is applicable to you.
All your meetings and preferred sessions are recorded in one place. Go to the 'My Schedule' section in the left-hand menu in your account. My Schedule lists both your preferred sessions and meetings in one place, so you do not double-book yourself.
Yes, tap ‘Conference’ on the home screen or on the left hand menu, navigate to a relevant session and star sessions to save to ‘My Agenda’ and 'My Schedule'
Go to the conference session, click 'Add to Calendar'
You can view the full exhibitor list by clicking the “Exhibitor” button on the homepage or left hand menu. You can filter and search by exhibitior name and product categories.
Meetings will take place on the showfloor, either at the B2B Networking Area or at Exhibitor Booths. To request a meeting:
1. Tap 'Exhibitors' or ‘Attendees’ or on the home screen or left hand menu
2. Search for 'Exhibitor' or 'Attendees' by name or company
3. Swipe right on a exhibitor profile and tap ' Request Meeting'
4. Choose a date and time and Location. Auto allocate will allocate you a table within the B2B Networking Area or to meet exhibitors at their booth, type the location in the 'Custom Location' Field.
5. Include an optional message
6. Click 'Request Meeting'
Yes, you will receive an alert when someone responds to your request.
The matchmaking section allows you to browse a list of profiles that are recommended to you based on the information you entered when editing the 'About You' section within your Profile.
You can request a meeting from within the matchmaking section, by clicking on the 'Request Meeting' icon within the exhibtior / attendee profile and sending them a direct meet request.
If you are unable to attend a meeting at a certain time, go to the meeting and tap on the + icon and select ‘Mark Unavailable’
Tap ‘My Meetings’ on the left hand menu, you can filter your meetings by status, accept requests, cancel and reschdule.
You will be reminded of your meeting 5 minutes before it is due to start by email & push notification. You will need to ensure push notifications have been turned on within your cell phone settings.
Individual meetings and networking can take place between 9:00am - 5:00pm, August 30 and 9:00am - 3:30pm, August 31.
You can send messages to exhibitors or visitors before, during and after the event. To send a message:
1. Go to the 'Exhibitor' or 'Attendee' profile you want to connect with.
2. After selecting a participant. Click ‘Send Message’
3. Send a message and network with other participants.
4. You will receive a notification when sent a message.
Whether you are looking at the Attendee list, Speaker list, or at Exhibitor profiles and their products (all accessible from the homepage or left hand menu), you only need to click on the 'star' icon, and their profile will be added to your "Favorites" section on the left-hand side menu of your account.
To update your exhibitor profile, please log into your Exhibitor Portal and update your Exhibitor Profile Form.
As an Exhibitor, you are able to manage the team that you will have on your booth and available for meetings. To update your booth representatives please email: [email protected]
As an exhibitor you can showcase your products & services to those who visit your exhibitor profile. Adding products & services to your exhibitor profile greatly increases the likelihood of a reach-out from interested buyers. To update your Products & Services, please go to your Exhibitor Profile Form found within your Exhibitor Portal and select the products & services applicable to your business.
Due to Data Protection Laws, leads are not available for export on the Event App. To get the best experience out of Ceramics Expo 2022, we recommend that you request contact details from potential customers within the messaging feature or during meetings, to follow up post-show.
