ECerS at the heart of European Ceramics and more
The European Ceramic Society (ECerS) is a non-governmental, non-profit federation of national ceramic societies each representing the ceramists of a member country.
ECerS coordinates and promotes the study of ceramics mainly through its Journals: the Journal of the ECerS and the brand new open access journal “OPEN CERAMICS”, and through the organisation of conferences, schools and topical meetings.
Every two years ECerS organizes a general Conference in one of the member countries. The XVIIth conference and exhibition of the European Ceramic Society will be organised from 29th August to 2nd September 2021 in Dresden, Germany.
Topical meetings are also organised every year such as the yCAM forum, the Shaping conference and the Electroceramics conference. The next yCAM (young Ceramists Additive Manufacturing) forum will be organised at the University of Toulouse, France, on April 15-17 2020. The next Electroceramics conference, Electroceramics XVII, will be organised from 24 to 27 August 2020 at TU Darmstadt, Germany.
School dedicated to young researchers are usually organised prior to the conferences and topical meetings such as the Summer School " Characterization and Modeling of Electroceramics" that will be organised by ECerS and TU Darmstadt from 21st to 22nd August 2020 in Darmstadt, Germany.
yCAM 2020 and Electroceramics XVII and the schools associated are sponsored by the JECS Trust.
The European Ceramic Society (ECerS) is a loyal supporter of Ceramics Expo 2020.
