The United States Advanced Ceramics Association

The United States Advanced Ceramics Association (USACA) engages with the U.S. government to champion the business interests of advanced ceramic producers and end-users.  The Association was formed in 1985 to create federal funding opportunities for ceramic materials and manufacturing, facilitate exchange of information between government and the advanced ceramics industry, and generally promote the benefits of advanced ceramics including ceramic matrix composites, coatings, and monolithic structures.  These advanced ceramics are used for high temperature refractory products for military, aerospace, and energy uses, as well as hard, durable, and wear resistant materials for abrasives, automotive, filtration, and armor applications.
